Flexmann
Flexmann

(2006)

It is difficult to describe a band that has all the good ingredients needed for great success. Therefore we will only say that FLEXMANN is project that you will be acquainted with for a long time. The lead singer, Ian Flexman, is the perfect example of a contemporary songwriter, composer and performer. He is soft, and full of emotion "in the pocket" singing. His melodies, full of romanticism and messages from life, make his music great for listeners of all ages. Stephen follows Ian on some tracks as a lead singer. Together they fill an entire songbook with love and feelings for every heart. The past is presented and produced by the guitar great, masterful and original member of Earth, Wind & Fire, and Mr. Al McKay.

He utilizes all the "bad cats" in town in order to achieve a touch of the finest West Coast and R&B sound. You can hear on the bass: Jimmy Hasslip (Yellow Jackets), James Jamerson Jr., Michael Landau, Zane Giles and Al McKay on guitars; Sir Gant and Howard Benson on keyboards; Bill Summers on percussion and Ralph Johnson (Earth, Wind & Fire) on drums. The sophisticated saxophone of Mr. Gerald Albright follows them. 80 retro at its best.
